San Jacinto, Riverside County
The San Jacinto Mountains climb steeply from the eastern edge of San Jacinto, gaining nearly two miles of elevation between the valley floor and the highest summit. The Soboba Band of Luiseno Indians has its reservation in the foothills beside the river. Mt. San Jacinto College, the community college for the region, has had its main campus in the city since the 1960s.
